Property manager not on top of the things. Communication between her and other managers really bad almost to none. If need an information about something and they tell you that they’ll call you back or email you, good luck with that. Maintenance takes forever to fix something. I don’t know if they lack of staff but this is current reality. The only bright part about the entire staff are ones working at the front entrance.

Elevator fixed - great! Dead shrubs in front garden removed - great! Painting is going to look good when completed. Fabulous friendly staff who endeavor to serve your needs. Improvement suggestions : 2nd floor door handle needs to be tightened or replaced; pool cues definitely need to be replaced. Overall, living at the Cameron is lovely.

I like living here thus far. Its pricey but as long as Maintenance is response, I won't have much to complain about. The concierge are really nice. the black girl with the British accent is super helpful and friendly.

Living at the Cameron has been an interesting experience. I'd never lived in an apartment managed by a corporation before. Having concierge service is wonderful. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. the location is awesome - walk to everything in downtown Silver Spring. My apartment is quiet - solid construction means I don't hear a lot of neighbors' noises. the downsides? living in a corporate-run building isn't for everyone. Company speak and platitudes only go so far. I believe everyone intentions in the property management office are good. That's all I'm gonna say.

I've lived at the Cameron for over a year now, and I just renewed the lease. I love the community of the complex - from the friendly concierges to everyone saying hello in the elevator. Amenities for a studio are great (washer/dryer, dishwasher, plenty of storage), as well as the building amenities, like the gym and rooftop pool!

I've been leaving at The Cameron in a two bedroom plus den unit for a month and it's been great. Maintenance is very fast. One time they fixed a couple of problems within one hour that I submitted the request. Very spacious and huge closets. Wonderful location in downtown Silver Spring.

I don't really enjoy living here any longer. I've had issues with management, maintenance, overall upkeep of the building and communication is lack luster at best. The garage gate is broke almost every other month. Doors from the garage leading into the building don't seal properly making the Fab essentially useless. The concierge is by far the most enjoyable part of living here. They take their job very seriously and professionally. They know almost every resident by name and apartment number. They are the true heart beat of this building. I am not sure if it's this building or if it's Greystar but I have now been turned away by Greystar as a company. April 9th I'm outta here. Obama Out....

Overall, the Cameron is a great place to live. The staff are friendly and usually very helpful and responsive. The facilities are kept nice and clean. My only issue is the enhancements to existing services (like packages and parking). These services are being upgraded (which is good), but often impose financial charges on residents with no notice or are illogically implemented, creating burden on residents. For example, the concierge used to manage package and parking services, but they aren't anymore and it's still costing new residents more money to use the new package services. It's not clear what new things the concierge will do. It would be better to reduce concierge services and use the funds to pay them to instead cover the cost of the new package service.

I love the management team in my building and the front desk personal (they are all wonderful!), but the company that manages the property (Greystar) has decided to use a third party package delivery system (Fetch). At first, I was just mildly irritated at the additional inconvenience: I have to change the delivery address on about ten websites and now schedule my package instead of just picking it up. But I just found out that there is a $21 PER MONTH fee for this "service" for residents that moved in after 11/18/2021 and even that is "subject to change." If you are considering if you can afford the base rent, add $150 for one parking spot, about $18 for the utility service fee, water rebill, and sewer rebill, and now the $21 for package delivery (and those are all monthly fees).

The concierge team is amazing and deserve all the praise!! The maintenance and management team leave a lot to be desired. The responsiveness from both is very slow even on time sensitive issues.

The apartments are spacious and nice finishes, but recently the building started a delivery change where Fetch has to get all packages and deliver them.

I am satisfied with the apartment community with the exception of the following: 1. maintenance has been extremely slow as of late 2. I sincerely wish we had a vending machine perhaps where the pool table is. I find myself wanting a quick snack late and it's not the safest thing to walk to the Walgreens just for a bag of chips 3. I sincerely wish we had charging stations on the property (at least 2 of which a Tesla chargingstationspecifically). Many of whom I know that live in luxury apartments are shocked that this community does not have it since they all do and thought this would be standard for this type of property. As it stands I have to drive 15 minutes to the nearest supercharging stations.

Our experience here has been mostly positive. Things I think would help the efficiency of the building is: adding a second concierge during peak ours so that they can better serve needs. I’ve gotten packages lost or had to wait long periods to get packages logged in. The dog park needs to be cleaned more frequently or they need to use a different material. Between the trash and dog urine by the second entrance it’s impossible to use that door or stand by with without gagging. Things that are different than when I first came here are building events. There used to be a lot more community events and perks. But, again these are difficult times. What I most appreciate is our building manager who works to correct mistakes and tries to be fair.

Elevators are too slow. Concierge is not always there. I’ve had to go up and down multiple times to pick up just one package. Fobs do not work well

I was able to look at the apartments that were available back In February. I desperately needed to move from my old apartment due to the environment changing for the worse. When I was given the keys to take a look, I was immediately blown away. The space, the layout, it was everything I needed and wanted. I didn’t need to see any other apartments in Silver Spring! I found my home!

I love how when I made a comment on the community not being so friendly. The Rental Office makes efforts to invite the Apartment Community to functions and gatherings! I have meet new people that attend these functions and it was GREAT!!

Staff are generally wonderful. Maintenance has been efficient and easy. Package collection has been an issue at times. My garage fob randomly stops working every 2 months. My upstairs neighbor is loud and was apparently offended by a civil note requesting quiet. Noise hasn't changed. I have kept a daily record of noise issues since September and plan to submit it soon.

The location of the apartment is great. The concierges are helpful (when they aren’t away at random times on “break”). I really wish we had the Hello Alfred program back. Seems like it disappeared.

Overall the Cameron has proved to be a pleasant place to live over the past two years. Cleaning staff are amazing and the location is quiet, but convenient. We've experienced some issues during the pandemic regarding transparency of higher management which has proven true for other issues along the way as well.

Has the treadmill been fixed yet? Will we have more than one? I've lived here for a year and not really gotten a chance to use the amenities, partly due to covid, and partly because they are broken. But also because the welcome packet was not very informative...so I don't really know all that is available to residents

I moved in on the 1st of May of this year. The staff and the people that live here are exceptional. I can’t forget all of the dogs, from little to big, have been quite friendly as well. Some of the staff , I believe have gone beyond their job description. Safety, especially at this time has been excellent. And friends and family that have come to the Cameron to visit me, have felt welcomed and that makes me very happy knowing I choose the best place to move.

The staff are very friendly and I love the location - very close to the downtown area and to the Silver Spring metro stop. The walls are pretty thin which can make working from home more noisy during the day and disrupt sleep at night.

I love the Rental Office. But sometimes the community meaning the people in the building could be rude. I know this world now everyone is out for theirselves but I speak, hold the door, open the door, let people on the elevator, and show respect courtesy to everyone in that building but DON'T GET THE SAME IN RETURN! Just my opinion...

The ammenities are wonderful. The staff are friendly. The maintenance workers are great. My only complaint is noisy upstairs neighbors who have ignored my request to stop stomping around and slamming things. They start music at 10:45pm instead of turning it off to respect quiet hours.

The community is very good. Lots of fluffy friends (read: pups and doggos) and nice staff. Clean, warm and welcoming. I especially like that they replaced the carpet since it greatly brightened the hallways. It was done in very unobtrusive manner and we were informed about all details as they occurred. Their maintenance staff needs to call ahead when they come to apartments though. So far we have had all our maintenance requests handled with no communication and staff showing up unannounced.

We have had some ups and downs since we have moved in. The quality and appeal of the building has dwindled between people moving in and out and leaving trash in places, management not attentive enough. One thing that maintains its great level that I will say I love is the front desk personnel. They have always been excellent no matter what.

What I like abou the Cameron apartments is the wood floors and the huge windows! The view of the sunset from our apartment is outstanding! It is located close to downtown Silve Spring, yet still being quiet and relaxing!

No bad experience yet. Been here since Jan 2020. The building is kept up pretty good. I will say everyone is not your friend. IJS... But over all, I think it's a very safe place to be for the moment being.

The apartment complex is consistently well maintained by the cleaning staff and the maintenance staff are prompt to respond to repair requests. Unfortunately the higher management is unresponsive and unreachable. Over the past 2 months we've sent 3 emails and 100% of them were not responded to. The leasing office try to help, but management is a bureaucracy so the leasing agents often don't know the answer to questions, especially regarding any type of transparency during COVID-19.

My experience here at the Cameron Apartments have been outstanding. From the old staff in the leasing office to the new, everyone has been so courteous to me and my son. The daily cleaning in the common areas has been magnificent, given the circumstances of the COVID19 pandemic. Thank you Cameron apartments for all you have done and is doing with providing shelter for me and my son!!! You all are awesome and thank you for being so courteous to my son as well. He really enjoys living here!!!

The Cameron is located in the best spot of Silver Spring. 1 block from the heart of downtown, without the traffic and noise of the busy roads. The other direction, just steps from great parks and nature. To top it off, the staff has been amazing, especially the concierges and maintenance team.
